An exfoliating body scrub recommended for weekly use.

This is the first iteration of our Soap Experiments series, which chronicles playful ideas we are tinkering with in our studio. For a long time, we’ve wanted to incorporate natural loofah directly into our soap. We made this prototype to complement your regular cleansing routine, and recommend it for effective weekly exfoliating use. We also like it as a foot scrub. Complete your cleansing routine with moisturiser for added hydration.

While coconut oil soap is not generally recommended for sensitive or dry skin, we have superfat this formula so the soap is less harsh and more hydrating. If you are using this soap for daily cleansing, we recommend following with a more moisturising bar of soap.

Ingredients | Organic virgin coconut oil, distilled water, lye, natural loofah.

Effective at removing dirt

Natural Loofah | Natural loofah is gentle but abrasive enough to efficiently remove dirt and dead skin that accumulates on the top layer of your skin. Made from the luffa plant, natural loofah is biodegradable, and should be kept dry and clean between use.

Safe for sensitive skin

While all our products are designed with sensitive skin in mind, our skin is unique and what works for us and those who test our products may not work for you. Adverse skin reactions to organic coconut oil are uncommon, but we recommend testing this bar on a small patch of skin before applying it to a larger area. Those with ultra sensitive skin may find natural loofah too abrasive for everyday use. Complete your cleansing routine with moisturiser after using this soap.
